Urbalis 888- GoA4 Fully Automatic Operation System

Urbalis 888 adopts moving block technology based on wireless communication and the same platform with Alstom’s global Urbalis solution for synchronous update. It uses a bidirectional self-healing backbone network and a wireless network for data transmission, which safeguards the safe and efficient operation of rail transit.

    With no need for drivers, the system has functions such as fully automatic operation/ opening and closing doors/turnback/shunting/sleeping/awakening/locomotive cleaning/comprehensive self-inspection. The manned driving system of Urbalis can easily be upgraded to be fully automatic.

  • Efficient operation

    It can support high-speed line up to 160km/h, mixed running of express and slow trains, marshaling and unmarshaling, flexible operation of different marshaling, etc.; the running interval can be less than 90s.

  • Precise control

    The probability of train stop accuracy within ±0.25m is 99.9995% and the time error for ATO operation is no more than ±2%.

  • Stable communication

    With bidirectional self-healing backbone of high capability and flexible networking, it can simultaneously carry signal and other additional applications like real-time multimedia.

  • Comprehensive operation and maintenance

    Mature technology +reduced unnecessary investment

    It can realize 7*24h continuous cross-specialty monitoring and equipment data analysis, calculate the equipment’s quality index and conduct preventive maintenance.
